So free yet so busy
I am blogging inside a sea-view hotel room of Swiss Garden Resort located in Kuantan, Pahang.
While deardear visits here for his business trip, his baobei is relaxing in this super nice resort here…
Unfortunately, Valerie had forgotten her camera’s USB cable. Therefore no photo uploading this time.
Will upload once I get back the USB cable in hand….hee
I started my leaves on 18/7/09, which is ending on the 30/7/09. Haha….
I flied to Penang to meet my dear on 18/7/09 as he was having business trip there. Along the way we visited Bukit Mertajam, Ipoh, Subang, Melaka….Came back only on the 22/7/09.
And now we are here in Kuantan!! hahaha…….will be back to JB only on29/7/09.
Hahaha….such a fruitful vacation for me when the accommodation is no longer a wallet-burning factor….
Recently we have bought a new apartment located at bayu puteri. It is just before the permas bridge, right opposite to the bakar batu low cost flat.
I like the unit number #18-08!! Huat ah…….
So we are now busy with bank loan and the renovation ideas with our future home.
Hee..this vacation is so well-spent….
A Black Week
Ya. It was an unfortunate week for me, last week.
That I lost my most important item, the proposal ring that was gifted on 28/1/09. Merely a five months ago.
I cried so hard, teared so much for a return, yet all the searching to no avail.
I left my key pouch on the key hole of my locker, due to my severe forgetfullness. The ring was kept within.
Police report was made. Stupid CCTVs in our change room are just plain dummy! That invited investigator’s mockery and of zero help to my lost.
I woke up by sadness for few days. Especially when he was away at Sabah for business trip.
Hardly can I spread this news to him via phone calls, my only support was from Kim and Joel before I could tell him in person .
What to do? This is my fault. I got to face it.
Sometime I envy those stewardesses.
Seeing them smiling happily in the photos that they have snapped, just making my heart aches.
They are paid to travel around the world while I am working like slave with a pathetic wages.
Again, their job is boring. Smiling, greeting, serving, cleaning…….they’re somehow function like waitresses in the air.
I know I have chosen a right path in a WRONG place, while opportunities gush in frequently.
I know I would become an influential people one day in MOT, but it does not satisfy me.
Here come the confusion.
Ambitious: Being an air stewardess as it is her childhood dream. Taking nursing course was initially supposed to facilitate her application into airlines.
Current occupation: Perioperative nurse who just got her training completed in Seoul, Korea. Recently awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) with merely one and a half year working experience.
A question to throw: Which one will you choose, a dream or a career?
Welcome back!
Finally has back to Malaysia…gotta start working tomorrow…
I am so not used to the weather here that I has been sweating since i woke up…..HOT~!!!
The only thing that I miss is their weather and my friends in Seoul….
I touched down at 0045hours, the saw Deardear was standing right in front of the gate, waiting for me patiently.
Miss him so much when I was away….and I know he misses me much too!
Thanks deardear~
Comes to the end….
Time flies…………………
My 2 weeks has come to the last episode…I got my training certificate from Asan Medical Centre!
I’m so sad and I was sobbing away when I said goodbye with them. The LT unit is so unbeatable……….be it the standard of patient care, excellent assisting skill, amazing teamwork…..they are really a Dream Team of liver transplant.
I will always miss them, especially to my preceptors Shin Su-Young and Kang Jeom-In, as well as our OR nurse translator Lee Ji-Yang……….
Dang shi ni ge ri woo go ya…………
I will bring my sweet memories with them back to Singapore…and the rest of my life….
Korea Food Centre
After 3 days in Korea, I find that Korean are self-disciplined generally.
Do you know that there is merely one shop tender in most stalls?
Do you know that there isn’t any cleaner in food centres?
Food centres are neat and tidy, clean and quiet.
This is how their food centre works:
- Place your order at the respective stall.
- Proceed to cashier for your payment.
3. You’ll be given receipts with a queue number assigned.
4. Be seated while waiting for your food to be prepared.
5. When your food is ready, stall tender will alarm your number and your number appears.
After the meals, Korean will bring their own utensils back to the stall tender! They help to tidy their own table and get the table ready for the next patron…..
An nyong ha sae yo~
Long time no see, long time no see…really LONG LONG time didn’t see you guys!
Mi an ne yo~! (I’m sorry….)
Ever since I came to Korea from 28th March, I tried to adapt their language in order to communicate with them….I was forced by situation here! Most of the people here doesn’t know any English, not even a SINGLE language! I got so frustrated at times when I tried to express myself……really oh my god!
Okay, speaking of that, I shall start to elaborate more……..
FIRST DAY 1st March 2009.
We touched town to Icheon international airport at 7am in the morning, and we were welcomed by the soothing weather of 2 degree celcius.
Am I being innorant? Hotels in Korea are non air-conditioned when it’s during winter, there is only heater available in their rooms. When we first entered the room, it was like a sauna room! It’s just so warm and stuffy…
With the help of our Korean J&J sales representative, we managed to change our room.
We couldn’t wait to enjoy Seoul’s breezing weather right after we settled down in hotel, this is the first thing we saw…….
When XiauXuang saw this picture via my facebook, she commented that this looked like a funeral car! Oh no, luckily the couple didn’t know about this……..
